Opinions and suggestions
The 50th National Cooperative Day was celebrated in Lohagara Upazila of Chittagong district with great enthusiasm. Among the programs organized by Upazila Administration and Upazila Cooperative Department were hoisting of the national flag and cooperative flag, rallies, and discussion meetings. Mr. Muhammad Nur Hossain, Upazila Cooperative Officer gave a welcome address in the discussion meeting keeping in view the theme "Development of Bangabandhu's philosophy in cooperatives". Mr. Ziaul Haque Chowdhury Babul, Chairman, Lohagara Upazila Parishad spoke as the Chief Guest. Special Guest Speaker Mr. Arman Babu Rumel, chairman, Lohagara Upazila Central Cooperative Society Ltd. Besides, representatives of various cooperative societies of the Upazila spoke. Later, Mr. Md. Masud Rana, Assistant Commissioner (Land) presided over the function.
